Pasadena Cocoa Rooms is a roaming cultural project exploring stories, culture, and the joy of discovery. Created and curated by event maestro Jacob Howard, it draws on a lifelong fascination with art, music, literature, film, and the playful spirit of his father Cephas Howard, 'Captain' of The Temperance Seven - the 1960s jazz revivalists who invented the fictional “Pasadena Cocoa Rooms” as part of their surreal mythology.

PCR isn’t tied to one genre or place. It moves with curiosity: from writers’ walks in Wimbledon to unexpected bands in Nairobi, from jazz nights in NY and poetry readings to heritage tours, creative encounters, and the cultural moments found in everyday life.

From around the world, we'll be gathering stories, people, and places into a growing tapestry of cultural experiences.

A space for the culturally curious, always evolving, always discovering.
